Shane Jones - I Will Unfold You With My Hairy Hands
Greying Ghost Chapbook Series

"Shane Jones's stories are strange and audacious. Do not expect irony or the hipster's felted birds and silk-screened whales. In these stories, animals die, live in chimneys, and float overhead, caught in the neon signs of the cityscape. Intimacy is a monster unfolding the palsied body of a handicapped woman and two people speaking into each other's feet. Yet in the bald telling of these bizarre stories there is the suggestion of tenderness that only honesty can articulate-this is the bird hovering above a burning field."
       - J'Lyn Chapman (Bear Stories)

Allen Bramhall - Walden Book
Greying Ghost Chapbook Series

Walden Book is an open door in an era of locked doors and drawn shades. It is a wildly lucid testament, not a eulogy, to the beauty that is Massachusetts' natural world. The poems in Walden Book are as inviting and intimate as a westward drive on route 2 from 128. There will be no poo-pooing of the modern world here - just the history of a place with all of its lights turned off. At least to me, Walden Book assures us that we can have simultaneous submissions of neon lettering and white pines. Picture Thoreau sharing a bill with the Modern Lovers.

5x8 chapbook printed on quality linen paper with hand-stamped envelope. Printed in an edition of 75. The covers are from a book of old Massachusetts coastal maps. Each chapbook has a different cover.

Brian Foley - The Tornado is Not A Surrealist
Greying Ghost Chapbook Series

"A poem by Brian Foley is a glimpse into the life of a professional eavesdropper. Each is a chewed down dossier roasted on a pit over a beerlight. Brian Foley is the love-child of a wide-ranging cast of characters book-ended by Rosmarie Waldrop and the previous groundskeeper of Seekonk Speedway. His poems are often excruciatingly uproarious and in turn, collected in its ability to humble you. Finally a collection of poems that sits you down and says, "I know, because i've been there!" Why are you still reading this? Buy the book. Don't even think about it.

5x7 chapbook printed on quality linen paper with hand-stamped envelope. Printed in an edition of 75, with 2 of those 75 having special covers made from old album covers and signed by the author. They will be randomly mailed to two lucky customers.

Carl Annarummo - The Long Hallucinations
Greying Ghost Chapbook Series

"Published to commemorate his leaving the house to read some poems on the night of June 8th, 2008. The event was a riot and this chapbook was the telephone booth thrown through the department store window. Everyone got a brand new color TV. Armed police officers made several arrestingly arresting arrests. In seriousness, this event was a blast, thanks to all who attended, set it up, read, and bought books.

Christopher Rizzo - Naturalistless
Greying Ghost Chapbook Series

"A few years back my wife and I were hanging with Chris Rizzo at this bar called Charlie's Kitchen over in Harvard Square. After a few beers he pushed over this packet of poems called "Spare Parts" and says "let me know what you think." I remember going home and reading it and saying "i wish i could write this good." I didn't write a poem for five months. "Naturalistless" is the ultimate compendium of his spare parts. These poems are whole sentences chopped down to two words, joined. It is both a refreshing poetic statement and a future bookshelf mainstay. Also, Christopher Rizzo is the man behind the unparalleled Anchorite Press.

Peter Berghoef - News of The Haircut
Greying Ghost Chapbook Series

"The debut chapbook from Peter Berghoef. News of the Haircut appears out of nowhere, asks you sit at its table, pours you a glass of cold water, and recounts the illustrious events of its life. This sly half-smile from Holland, Michigan is just a stepping stone. Some of the best poems i've read in a good long while. You will be hearing from him again and again for years to come." -- Carl
