Since the very beginning we have had the pleasure of working with many exceptional authors who's commitment to expanding the power of the written word has energized our commitment to print their work. All of our books are handmade and in most cases, every aspect of production is done in-house. This includes the processes of printing, binding, and shipping. Each cover is hand stamped or pressed. And all of our mail orders are stuffed full with either old photos, fragments of old maps and books, comic scraps, and most importantly, FREE* pamphlets of poems by people were admire. We recycle all paper when possible. *all pamphlets are free with purchase of any Greying Ghost book while supplies last. | info The Corduroy Mtn. is not currently seeking submissions. We'll be back in the early spring. | info We read manuscripts for Greying Ghost October 1st thru December 15th. The submission window for 2011 publication as ended. We publish an average of 10-12 chapbooks per year. Our typical print run is 75-100 copies. We generally do all of the design ourselves. This includes covers and packaging. Author input is always welcomed. The best way to get a sense of the type of writing we publish is to purchase a couple of our previously published chapbooks. In short, we enjoy tight, snarky, poetry and prose that sits like a cinder block on our collective sternums. Submissions should be sent as .pdf or .doc file to the email address above. Print submissions can also be sent to the mailing address above. Print submissions should have on each page your last name and page number. Do not send cover letters as we don't read them anyway. Submissions should be between 15-25 pages in length. Simultaneous submissions are not accepted.
